so many problems, so little time.
A lot of things have been going thru my mind lately. My almost non-existent job that is killing me slowly. My boss who has killed my passion for design and everything nice and pretty. My family, well, they do give me headaches sometimes. My relationship... aha, the biggest problem so far.
No, it was never a problem with the boyfriend. Just that we're both gonna be really busy, especially him, and well, me as well... so I think we're kinda losing the spark in our relationship. I know I know, things like these happen to all couple, you say. But really, is there a better way to handle this... strain that's so... strained? I feel like telling him what I'm actually thinking but I didn't. My ego's too big for that, too big for this.
You can't really force a man to do something that he's not ready for yet. Especially not something that triggered the breakup of his previous relationship, with his ex. Speaking of which, I'm really bothered by that display picture of his ex in his Whatsapp. I mean, why would people just go and set up a profile picture of their ex in their phone where else none of the other contacts have any display? I'm pretty sure he set the display picture himself because yeah, I wouldn't go and do something so disturbing. It gets me wondering maybe a lil too much whether he still has a thing for his ex.
I'm perturbed.
I know. Pathetic, right?
But you won't feel the slightest disturbed if you don't really love that person. So I guess it's healthy that I'm feeling jealous just because of the whole stupid display picture on his phone app. Yeah.

boring sunday? not really.
Spent half of the day sleeping in and didn't even know when my sister got up and turned off the aircond. By the time I woke up, it's already ten forty-five and I thought of dragging my sis over to Taipan for McD breakkie but in the end, I dozed off again. I woke up the second time at eleven fifteen. I know, I phail big time. -sigh-
Anyway, I did some cooking, which I don't even think it's counted as cooking because all I did was throw two cold eggs into a pot of hot water and let them cook by themselves. Half-boiled eggs FTW yo. Never had those for sooooo long. The last time I had was in Old Town I think. -grins-
Around one hour past afternoon, W called me and wanted me to go over to PJ for lunch and being a lazy bum that I am, I declined and asked her to come over Subang instead. Ngek ngek ngek. W arrived within thirty minutes which is a new record including the time she drove her and the time she took to ready herself. Oh wow weeeee. Lunched at Strawberry Fields and I had their delicious butter prawn rice (yummmmm) again. W ordered the lemon chicken rice (the chicken were a lil sour today) which comes with a soup and we ordered an extra chicken tomyam (too much pepper!). Though the food today wasn't that nice but yeah, it's okay. The weirdest part was, my sis actually tagged along. -haha- After lunch, W drove us home and went back to PJ to work. Such sacrifices on her car petrol. -evil grins-
Update: W forgot to take her take-away tomyam. She left it in the restaurant. Wtf.
Ohohoh, my desktop is ALIVE! -jumps around- After about six months of not turning it on because I took my tablet to the office and can't find a freaking mouse for it, I finally turned it on today after I rummaged thru my sister's boxes and found a mouse, and yeah, it's alive. Joy to the world babeh!! Did some cleaning round my small office today and finally remembered to upload photos from back when me, W, YK, Cal and PShi went to Putrajaya to look at the hot air balloons. Good memories but bad weather. Gah. Did a lot of editing on the photos because they came out suck like monkey balls due to the bad weather and my photography skills ain't that good anymore. Double gah.
I'm thinking whether I should go to Sunway later. Really needs to buy some edible food so that sis can make her bentos for me to bring to work. Can't afford to eat economy rice anymore because I'm damn broke already. -cries- On the other hand, my sis offered to paint my nails after I showered. So.. Sunway or manicure? Sunway or manicure? Why so hard to decide? -dilemma-
Hmm, I think I'll just hit the shower, get my nails painted and then only go Sunway. Good idea no? Heeeee. Alright, that's settled. Sunday isn't so boring after all. Time to get naked~ ♪
There's work tomorrow. I totally officially hate Monday. Bleh.

hey i'm still alive.
I just realized that the last time I posted in here was in September last year. I feel guilty and I've a confession to make. I've almost completely forgotten about this blog until one of my friends mentioned to me about it. -lol-
Anyway, I'm gonna start picking up blogging again. It's just that I've lost my passion and ohm to do it. No idea how to explain this feeling but it's something like feeling sleeping and I need coffee but I'm sitting inside Starbucks drinking chocolate frappucino instead. Doesn't make sense, does it? I know. My life doesn't make sense lately as well. It comes in a courier package, like FedEx.
Well, a lot (and I mean, a lot) of things happened within this past 8 months. Break-ups, make-ups, cheatings and all that shit. Sorry for my language but yeah, I've felt sad, disappointed, depressed and betrayed. But it's all over now and I don't want to think or talk about it anymore. If the same thing happens again, I'll know what to do because I've already took it as a life lesson. I'm going to take it slow and light, and I won't let anyone take me for granted anymore just because I'm nice. I'm gonna life my life as it is and do things that I like.
I will make myself happy and worth it again.
That's all I'm gonna talk about in this post. Well, this update is just to let people know that I'm still kickin'. Till next time, ciao! -waves-

japanese food fair.
Went to 1U earlier for dinner at Chili's and saw that they have this Japanese Food Fair going on in the center court. Can't resist to sink my teeth into awesome goodness of miso soup, corn + wine candies, baked scallops, and some (a lot of) yummilicious tit-bits, so I just bought whatever that I like. The total bill ranked up to about 70MYR.
Am so broke.
But still... I'm caving for that CALPIS SODA. Ugh. Should've grabbed that along.
mooncake festive.
Since everyone's hyped up over mooncakes lately, my mum decided to jump into the bandwagon and bought some mooncakes as gifts for my dad's business associates. She went from Casahana to Baker's Cottage to Kam Lun Tai and bought more than fifteen mooncakes like they're all on sale or something (they are actually, up to 37% discount or a buy 4 free 1 promo). Managed to persuade my mum to buy us some as well. I just loooooooove the Creamy Milk Tea one from Baker's Cottage. It tastes exactly like Old Town's Xi Mut Milk Tea. Srsly. Highly recommended!
The 'xi mut milk tea' flavored mooncake for us. Still a virgin in packaging.
Ah... the golden brown skin. Gonna devour it soon enough.
The deflowered version of the mooncake. Yummmmm ♥♥
new hair color + mp restaurant.
Journeyed back to Ipoh early in the morning because we've made an appointment with our family hair stylists. Can't decide whether I'd like to have my hair colored or not, but in the end, I did. Went from blackjet to chestnut brown. Latest pic:
New hair color. Nice?
Brother suddenly (no, it's actually planned) decided to treat us to dinner because he's just gotten his first month salary so yeah, let's ode to that! Heh. Dad wanted to try dining at MP Steamboat which has been around for like a quarter of a century (I lied) and serves fusion foods so bro drove us all there. Atmosphere in there is okay, not too posh or anything, just better-than-your-average steamboat restaurant. The price is sky high so we didn't have steamboat. We settled for ala-carte which consists of mainly western. Not gonna comment much and gonna let my piccas do all the talking, aight?
Main entrance.
Good ambience.
Serviette with lots of info on it.
The menu cover.
One of the pages in the menu.
Carrot, apple and the Giant Mixed Fruit Juice.
My Tagliatte Al Turkey.
Brother's Black Pepper Chicken Chop.
Dad's BBQ Mixed Grilled Plate.
Sis' Australian Grilled Lamb Chop.
Mum's Seafood Platter.
All in all, the food are all nice, especially the aussie grilled lamb. -drools- We even ordered a second serving for the lamb to be shared among all five of us. My Italian spinach flat noodle is so-so, and I didn't even manage to finish it because I was too full. In the end, I gave it away to my sister and took her grilled lamb. Heh. And the juices... ah, refreshing. I love my dad's carrot juice! The gigantic mixed fruit juice that me, my sister and brother shared wasn't that gigantic at all. Just 750ml, which is not enough for the three of us to drink. -sadface-
Total bill is about 150MYR which divides fairly to about 30MYR per person. Not cheap but not too expensive either. Will definitely go back there again the next time. -lol-
Next stop: IPOH BERLIN'S BEER HOUSE!
Must. Go. There.
bow's home-grooming day!
Hi, I'm Pinky from Pink & The Brain. Can you spot the similarity?
After grooming and all dressed up. Handsome? Cute? ♥♥♥
four places.
Went to 1U, The Curve, IKANO and IKEA today; four places in maybe 4 hours. A pretty amazing feat I'd say, though we went to 1U just to drop off Rainbow for his grooming in the first place before heading over to The Curve for dinner and shopping. Heh. I actually wanted to go for Penang food but it seems like my sister doesn't so we ended up at Sakae Sushi instead. We prefer Sushi Zanmai to Sakae Sushi but what to do, there's no Sushi Zanmai in The Curve! The only thing I like about Sakae Sushi is when you can personally order your food through the computer. It's fun, in a way. So... food piccas anyone? ;)
79.90MYR for three. Bundle price. Cheap? Not really but I bought it on impulse all because of the covers. So shinyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Okay.
I wonder when I'm gonna finish reading all three. Probably a few months? Haha. Reading pace has been going really slow lately, like a snail. But I like books by Jodi Picoult. I actually wanted to buy the other one titled 'My Sister's Keeper' which had been made into a movie but it's sold out. -sadface- These three will do for now. Heh.
I'd like to write more about my shopping experiences at IKEA and IKANO but meh, just the same old story. Walked around, browsed around and that's it. Though mum bought a few stuffs from IKEA and I bought myself some compartment separators for my new wardrobe which costs 39.90MYR. So expensive but so useful. -sweatdrops-
Soft shell crab. Yummmmm.
Ebikko sushi.
My Kinoko Soba (mushroom soba)
Teriyaki Chicken Ramen
Kappa maki
Mum paid for the bill, in the end. I feel bad. Not really. I'm kinda broke because I bought this from BORDERS:

din tai fung 2 & laptop shopping.
On Saturday, we went to MidValley with the intention to help my sister to buy herself a new laptop. Dell, she wants, so we bought my brother along because he's the tech-savvy one in the family as usual. We planned to have dinner at the food court, buy the laptop, walk around and then go home. What we didn't expect was a super huge existing crowd in MidValley itself due to break fast because it's 7PM already when we arrived. This is the first time I've seen a sea of people this huge that it feels even hard and tiring to walk around. The good mood I was in, was washed away after a while.
Because of the super big crowd at the food court, we couldn't find any tables and decided that no, we don't want to dine in there. We're gonna dine somewhere were people are scarce which is like, impossible because it's a Saturday. The only option we have is non-halal outlets. So we walked around deciding where to go. At first, we were queuing up for ZEN Sushi but when it was our turn, me and my sister decided that we don't want sushi. So, we moved to the back and got in line for Din Tai Fung instead. Talk about indecisiveness. The queue for Din Tai Fung was long too, and we had to wait for like, 20 minutes until it's our turn. We were given a number and was told to wait, and while waiting, we get to order what we want with the order chit.
There were teas for us to drink while waiting too. Ah, good service. Plus, there's this cool Taiwanese (we assume she is by the way she talk and her foreign face) waitress who's serving us outside so it's not that bad. Heh. Once inside, the food arrived quickly. We ordered a lot of stuffs since it's my parents first time there and I managed to take piccas before they dig in. Here's most of them, the only one missing are the aromatic teas.

Cold drunken chicken. This is reeeeeeally good!!
My sister's pickled vegetable la mien (ramen). I had this last time.
Combo B Part 1: Xiao long bao. Very delicious!
My chicken soup la mien. Not bad, though the soup tastes a bit bland.
Mom's prawn wanton soup la mien.
Mango pudding with raw milk. Love it. It tastes like Japanese Konyaku.
Dad's pork chop la mien.
Garlic stirred fry vegetables.
Combo B Part 2: Prawn and Pork Dumplings.
My brother's pork chop fried rice was the last to arrive. Haha.
All in all, the whole meal was satisfying and summed up to about 150MYR, which means 30MYR per person. The price was a bit hefty but we're all foodies so it's okay. We like trying out new foods anyway. -lol- By the way, the uniforms in DTF looks quite nice. I wish I could wear that once.
Also, my sister didn't manage to buy her laptop in the end because my brother remembered that he has a friend who works in a computer shop who's willing to send him a list of refurbished laptops on demand. Since my sister wants to save a little, she decided to wait for the list. While me, on the other hand, is deciding whether I should be buying myself a MacBook or a Dell. Hmmm.
