fara's bday + no fur bowbow + fire drill practice
It was Fara's birthday yesterday so me, AL, Karen, Inte and Wawa kind of celebrated it for her by eating lunch with her at Siblings Coffee Shop near my office. We don't usually eat with Fara, unless it's a celebration, or that she joins us when we eat in the meeting room. Karen was rushing a project so we went before her and AL helped her order hers because she'll only join us in later.
I ordered my usual Black Pepper Chicken set with iced lemon tea and then, I found out after Fara's order arrived that they do serve Chicken Chop there as well! Wth, how come it's not listed in the menu? -disappointed- And to say that Fara's chopchop looked so huge and delicious, too, compared to my pathetically small chicken leg. Hers come with a toast too. -sadface- Karen and me are so gonna order that the next time we dine there, ya'know? Nyeh.
But still, my lunch is gooooood.
Anyways, we had fire drill practice in my office building yesterday as well. Must be Fara's birthday present from the firemen. -lol- I was in the toilet when the fire alarm rang and really, you can't hear it from the inside. How dangerous. So, after I'm done with my business, I came out from the toilet and saw all my colleagues walking out from the office. I was like, eh? what happened? and then got laughed at by Wawa. Hmph, evil secretary.
It was so damn sunny and we had to evacuate the building by the smelly stairs. Luckily, when we were outside. there was a canopy stairway and so, everyone gathered around there. When I said everyone, I mean, a lot of people from the building that I've never seen before and of course, I was sweeping my eyes around for some eye candy. Too bad, zilch. Inte saw this foreign malay-ish guy dressed in all white and can't stop going gaga over him. -sweatdrops-
Mum MMSed me two pictures of Rainbow's fur growing back out. He was so ugly when she brought him for grooming last week and had all his fur cut because of ticks so thank god, he's starting to get a bit cuter now. Sneak peek of BowBow acting cute even though he's actually not (yet):
Heeeeeee, gonna have to start packing again. It's 70% done by now but it seems like there's still a lot of things to be put into boxes. At times like this, I which I have the money to buy myself a house so that I don't have to keep shifting forever. -sigh- But still, it's fun though, to get to know new places and all. Heh. I want to live in Korea!
I can't wait for the end of May to arrive. Korea, here I come! Gyahhhh! -excited- I need to constantly remind myself to keep on looking at currency exchange rates and buy WONs when they're low. And I keep on forgetting. Haha.
Need. To. Go. Shopping. So. Badly.
But, I'm still saving my all for Korea. -grins-
I'm reeeeeeeeeeeally addicted to Bossa Nova lately. Can't stop myself from downloading everything bossa nova. My favorites are Olivia Ong, Lisa Ono, Susan Wong and Paris Match for now. Crazy in love with them ♥♥♥
Gah. Have to go out for dinner now. It's 10PM. And then, back to packing. -dies-

murni discovery & puppy hunting
Had a really nice dinner with my brother tonight. I texted him an hour before I finished work and asked him if he's willing to have dinner with me. He said okay. -smiles- So, I called him when I finished work (because we're meeting there) and jammed my way to Murni Discovery at Aman Suria. It took me 25 minutes to get from the road in front of Kelana Jaya LRT to the opposite side of the road near the church; just a very short u-turn which probably takes less than 1 minute if there's no traffic congestion. There were so many car cutting my line and I was refraining from honking their ears out. Just because I drive a small and white innocent car, it gives you the right to just cut my line??!! Ish, so freakin' dulan lor.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I arrived safely after my brother has waited for about 30 minutes and finished a whole glass of lime juice while waiting for me. Ooopsie. (Gomenasai, otouto?) And because I was a little hungry, I immediately browsed thru the menu while half-listening to my brother's recommendation and decided on their Chicken Chop Special. This special dish consists of a double chicken with cheese in the middle, coleslaw, fries, veges like cucumbers and tomatoes, and also... papadums. Their green tea apple caught my eye and I ordered that to quench my thirst, of course. -ngek- My brother had Claypot Lou Shi Fun and a glass of watermelon juice.
While waiting for our food to arrive, we talked nonsense and I kinda got blamed for being late because I didn't know there's another alternative to Aman Suria besides the LDP. My brother taught me another new route tonight. -happy- And while chatting, I managed to snap up some pics with my phone. The environment in Murni Discovery is quite nice. It's quiet and clean and with good air ventilation - a high-class mamak restaurant. At first glance, it looks like a kampung hut from the outside and it's really easy to locate.
I did took a few pics of the place but I don't wanna post it up because there are too many people in it. -lol- I'll just post the pictures of food and my poser brother instead.

Leng zhai brother. Hohoho ♥♥

Green tea apple & watermelon juice ♥♥

My chicken chop special. Really nice, no joke. ♥♥♥

Bro's claypot lou shi fun ♥
The food was surprisingly nice. I didn't expect it to be that big of a portion and I couldn't even finish my chicken! I had to ask my brother finish up mine in the end. Haha. -embarrassed- Anyways, the foods were nice and true enough, when the bill came, the price was nice as well. Our bill costs bout 25MYR. Expensive for mamak. Not so for high-class mamak.
After dinner, I dragged my brother to this petshop in SS2 that sells puppies because my mom wants a Pomeranian as her pet. So we're currently looking around for cute puppies. Saw this super adorable toy poodle (I swear it's a walking teddy bear) and cute Pomeranian and I went 'OMG I WANT TO BUY THAT! SO CUTE! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!'. Wasted no time in video calling my sister and mom to show them the teddy- ahem, toy poodle. My mum is more interested in the Pom though, as well as my sis. But me and my brother wants that toy poodle so badly and mum is coming over to KL tomorrow so I hope I can persuade her to buy that toy poodle and name her Momo. -evil cackles- After SS2, I bought my brother to another petshop in SS14 but it has closed when we arrived. Awww. -sadface-
Alright, that's ll about my puppy hunting adventure for tonight.
On a super bright note: My boss is on leave tomorrow (I think... um, I pretty sure actually)! -jumps around- Yay! I hope tomorrow will be a good day. But it'll surely be boring. Oh well, another day, another adventure.
By the way, me and Wabbit had a teary fight the night before yesterday. I don't know why and what is happening to us lately but I don't think I like it. I just hope we'll get better at handling our emotions and actions. But I think the main reason of our frequent fights recently is because of her job in BBC.
Ahh, whatever.
Nites.

takahashi is fake pasta zanmai!
First off, CNY 2010 was a major let down. Why? Let's tick:
1. Super hot weather (I've never experienced such degree of warmness in my entire life. It was 39°C at one point which we blared the air cond at full speed and still, feel warm. -sighs-)
2. No CNY feel at all (Just like any ordinary day. No fireworks. No going over to people's house for angpows. No nothing except a few relatives coming over and us going to theirs.)
3. Little angpow money (I guess this is self-explanatory.)
4. Not many friends came back (Everyone must be avoiding Malaysia, I guess. -shrugs-)
5. First day of CNY = Valentine's Day (Couples don't get to celebrate damnit! Wabbit was exactly 888.63 miles away from me on 14th February 2010! Wtf. Yes, I calculated.)
6. No shopping (How could this happen?! Mom doesn't wanna bring me shopping because!!! Please refer to #1.)
7. Cocoa was being an ass (Yes, that's the new name of my family's new German Shepherd. She's a baby so she's not good at recognising people which led her barking at me and my brother most of the time when we enter our own house. Bad dog! Bad, bad dog!!)
Anyways, though there are plenty of not-so-nice reasons that points to an unhappy CNY this year, there are still quite a few happy moments that I'd shared with my family. Like the day when me, my mother and I quietly went to Takahashi and had treated ourselves to some nice food without my dad's knowledge; or the day when me and my sister helped out my mother in the kitchen to prepare for new year's dinner and acted ourselves silly with the movie recorder on my cellphone. Ah, good times.
So, piccies time? -grins-

It's my first time to Takahashi (I know, I know. I haven't been back to Ipoh for like almost a year, blame me) and I must say, I'm in love with their shop's interior design ♥♥

Cute little decoration just right in front of the ordering counter ♥

The chawanmushi from my mother's set lunch.

My mom's mushroom soup. Yum ♥

My Teriyaki Chicken Set which comes with a miso soup, salad, a bowl of rice, the chicken itself and also some peaches as dessert ♥♥♥

My sister's Onsen Tamago & Mushroom Pasta ♥

My sis with her gyoza ♥♥

Gyoza. It's a bit too salty though ♥

Cute line-up of seasonings beside the table ♥♥
Even though I wanted to take more pictures of the shop, but it's lunch time and there are a lot of people queuing up outside waiting for a table so I didn't manage to take any. Plus, the food there are really not that nice. -sadface- It's practically a F&B ripoff of Pasta Zanmai. Pasta Zanmai is wayyyyyyy better. Anyhow, me and my sister treated my mom with our angpows money. Heh.
There are still a lot of pictures to post up but it's getting late and I need sleep. I want to cuddle! I WANT CUDDLES!! ♥♥♥♥ -tackleglomps mr.bear-
G'night.

G'night.
i love sushi
Oh wheeeeeee! -twirls-
Finally managed to had sushi last night with Wabbit at Sushi Zanmai (we've been there enough times for the staffs to remember what we actually like. I wonder if it's a good or bad thing?). The craving has been going on since last week and when I had my first bite of raw salmon after so many days, I practically melted. So damn nice. The orange pinkish cold flesh just... umm, fantastique! -kisses fingers- I was deciding whether to take sashimi salad or the seafood salad. In the end, I chose the latter because Wabbit wanted to have some crabmeat. Needless to say, the salad dressing was really, really nice. I finished the whole bowl, mind you. -grins-
Had so much sushi because I'm in love with them and also partly because the bill is on Wabbit. Heh. Didn't manage to take any pictures except for a few. So here you go (sorry for the sucky quality):

My all time favorita: SALMON SUSHI! ♥♥

Seafood Salad with Zanmai dressing please! ♥

Kani Mayo & Inari sushi.

Wabbit's rice... err, can't remember the name.
Gah, looking at all these pictures makes me feel like having sushi again. I'm so addicted. -sweatdrops- If I keep this up, I'll need to sleep under the bridge before the end of the month arrives. Uhh.
Anyways... -looks around- I should start to pack up all my stuffs and get ready to head home to Ipoh tomorrow afternoon. I hope my office will give us a free half-day off for tomorrow. -crosses fingers- I want to skip the jam and go home early so that I can see my new doggie, CASH!! ♥ Wabbit's back in Sarawak already, at home with her dad. I hope she'll have a good time meeting up with friends and relatives and yeah, I hope she misses me like... a lot. -puppy eyes- She needs to make up for all my lonely nights in here for the whole week! Hmph!
-looks at Wabbit's hamster-
Um... can I like, just leave Kiki here for a week? I wonder if he'll (yes, Kiki is a he) die. Ah, so lazy to bring him home!! I just hope Cash doesn't eat him up or something while I'm asleep. If she (yes, Cash is a she) does, then... -weak laugh-
Um, can I don't pack as well? I'm just too lazy to move my ass right now and plus, episode 5 of Hi, My Sweetheart is just too nice to not watch it! Oh the climax! Jeng jeng jeng... Rainie is so cute in here, has been a fan of her since 4inLove. -♥s-
On a not so bright note, no bonus this year! Boo hoo! But a few minutes ago, K (캐렌) just texted me and told me to check my bank account because she heard someone said that all chinese in my company gets to have their bonuses even though they haven't been working for a year yet. -looks at sms- Impossible lah! Can't really expect anything for someone who doesn't even want to treat their staffs to a cheap annual lunch/dinner with the excuse of nothing to celebrate. -laughs- No, really, I'm not laughing. It's so sad and depressing. But meh, I can always go out and eat better meals outside with Wabbit. -smiles-
Anyway, I did check my account online an hour ago because I need to transfer some monies to my mum but yeah, nothing's changed. Not even the interest. Wtf. So sad.
I NEED TO PACK. GOOD BYE.

delicious, speakers. yum
I ffk-ed Karen and Cindy today after I've sorta promised to go shopping for CNY clothes with them. I need to defend myself though. Who will arrive in the wee hours of the morning for shopping anyway? I need my beauty sleep! -runs- The scheduled time was 10:00 actually. I don't know when they arrived but I arrived there around 14:00 and that was when Karen and friends had practically walked a third quarter of 1U, I think?
BUT! I went to 1U nonetheless with Wabbit (who tagged along despite being sick) in the end because she wanted to buy gifts for her parents. We pigged out at Delicious right after we arrived and ordered spaghettini. This is my fourth time being there and I'm still madly in love with their Iced Peach Tea. -loves- She had Crabmeat Tomyam Spaghettini while I had Duck Spaghettini (photos below).

My dish was so-so. When I said so-so, I meant not that good. I had to take mine with tabasco sauce, imagine that. Blergh. Bad choice of ordering. On the other hand, Wabbit's was delicious. I should've stick to Carbonara instead. -pouts-
After finishing at around 16:00, I texted Karen and she called me an hour after telling me that she's heading home soon. So we ended up not meeting up even though we were in the same place. -laughs- So I walked around with Wabbit and then I bought a pair of shoes! I saw it and Wabbit saw it and we both said that it looks pretty at the same time so I bought it. Seldom had we agree on the same thing, you know. The platform shoes is vintage-styled with red flowers on it. I liked it a lot but when I walked in it, it sort of hurt my toes a lil'. Oh well, I bought it anyway. -shrugs- I wanted to take pics and post them up but I'm a pig so, nah. Heh.
Then, we went to the petshop near ColdStorage and I played with a baby pomeranian! Just 2 months old and it's like so damn freaking cute that I wanted to bite it. -squeals- And then, my sister MMSed me pictures of our new German Shepherd dog that my grandma gave to us and I just melted. So cute!! And guess what we named her?

Say hello to CASH! -lol- We sounded very materialistic, right? We're money lovers! I can already imagine me going home for CNY and calling, "C'mere Cash! C'mere!". It'll be so funny and I'll play with her every day. Let's hope she'll like me, too. -grins- I can't wait to be home now. Ish.
It seems like recently there are a lot of pets appearing in my life. I haven't had the time to post up pictures of Wabbit's new pet hamster, Kiki yet though. -smiles- Cute furball. Especially when he's placed into the exercise ball and can be seen rolling around my room like a cute orange ball.
By the way, I wanted to post this up:

Saw this paws-perity cat in 1U. Cute, cute, cute. And this:

CNY Stickies @ Sticky! I want them! I want a mixed jar!! Wabbit said to buy me a jar but we kind of forgot about it after we went to the shop beside Sticky to buy speakers. Yep, my V-day present! -beams- She bought me a Sonic Gear Evo 7. It's 169MYR and I paid 70MYR for it. Wabbit paid the rest. Though it's different from all my previous V-day presents experiences but it's the thought that counts, right? -ponders- But I still love it to bits. Nice bass. Sleek design and it's... black. I wanted white to match my desktop since mine's all white and silver but they ran out of stock so I took the black one.
It's 01:40. No matter how awake I feel, I should sleep. There's work tomorrow and my right shoulder freaking hurts. And Wabbit doesn't want to help me massage them. -cries-

-cries-
