shading skin.

Something is happening to the skin on my face. It's like I'm shading skin. Ugh. Why is this happening to me?? I've been applying moisturizer and lotion everyday but still, my skin is still peeling! -sadsad- I hope it'll be over soon because this sucks big time.

let's fix it.

There's a broken lamp by the stairs at the new house. So, my brother decided to fix it, and then, my father joined in. When my father failed to drill holes into the lamp base, me and my sister jumped in to help my brother instead. -keke-

Here's what we're trying to do. Make another 'lane' in the wood for the wires to fit in.

Them busy drilling and carving. Me, taking piccas. Heh.

This is the so-called lane! We're halfway through! A bit more perhaps?

The leftover woods? Dunno what to call it. Chipped wood?

Brother trying to install the wires into the base.

I climbed up the tall stairs to help... to pose! Lol.

It was hot and sticky outside, luckily, our porch has a fan! Huh. It was a lot of fun to drill and everything but tiring as well. In the end, we managed to carve the lane, get the wires in and installed the whole lamp after almost 2 hours. Happily flipped the switch on but...

THERE'S NO LIGHT.

Checked and checked and found out that it's the wiring problem. So, we still need to call the wireman/technicians in. Aih, wasted our time and energy only! -sadface- But still, it was fun tho. =)♥

tonight, tonight.

So many things happened tonight. First, D broke up with Z (as in, my sister broke up with her boyfy). I hope she's okay. She'll be okay because she's strong and she has a family who supports her in whatever she does except for when she's gotten herself a not-so-suitable boy. I bet my mum's the most relieved among all four of us. Her boyfriend is okay, but still, maybe a little towards the immature side? I don't know. He's twenty-two and he's younger than my sister. Anyway, I wish them a happy life ahead and just, please, find someone who treats you good enough, someone who loves you more than you love her. Love rocks! -grins-

Second, I got a call from Dehv when I was preparing to bath, asking me if I want to update her company's website. Everything's awkward when she called. She talked to me, asked a bit and then handed the call to her marketing consultant, Christine. And there I was, standing in the middle of my room without the fan on, naked, and talking to a stranger. A woman, nonetheless, which makes everything even weirder.

Third, I successfully pried open a can of sardine using a borrowed knife, a stolen Starbucks cup and a spoon. Go me! I don't even know how I did it but honestly, was too hungry to care. The first stab that I took on the can already had the aroma filling my nostrils and yeah, I used violence. -evil- Nothing stands between me and my food, okay?

I wanted to post about what I had on Tuesday with W at Sunway Giza (it's my first time being there) but I'm too lazy to edit piccas. I'll just leave that to the next post. By the way, me and W saw a cute TB when we were browsing for discounted bed sheets. -laughs- I like how her hair looks and kept on asking W to grow it long. W doesn't seem amused. Heh.

Anyways, my shoulders are hurting like hell. So gonna keep this post short. G'nite lovelies~ ♥♥♥♥

sunway giza.

Referring to my previous post, I'm gonna blog about my experience at Sunway Giza today. W bought me to Sunway Giza on Tuesday but I was too lazy to go though after much persuasion from her, I tagged along as well. Bickered a bit on the way there because I kept on complaining of W being a reckless driver and yeah, road blind. We arrived there without entering the parking area because of some 'road flow problems' (hell yeah) and got pissed off when I saw W being so cautious of her new car being stolen. Double steering lock, and triple check on the door handles to make sure they're really locked. Damn sweat.

Anyways, my first impression of Sunway Giza was "Wow?" followed closely by, "OMG, there's a maid beer cafe in here!" because the first thing I saw when I walked in was the lit up fake trees lining up the entrance and then, cute girls in maid costumes. -laughs- I'm so gonna try out the cafe sometime in the future but not now. Probably the next yumcha session with fun people. Heh.

Full House at Sunway Giza practically grabs everyone's attention because of it's lifestyle decors and it's massive signboard which changes colors of rainbow. Very, very pretty. And no, I'm not really impressed because I've been in a few of it's branches before. Nothing new, but they do sell more stuffs in here compared to the one in Sunway Pyramid. I wanted to be seated in but W wants to smoke so we end up sitting outside instead. -sadface- Oh yeah, Full House's waitresses wear maid costumes too but they're not as cute as the beer cafe ones though one particular tall girl with good English did caught my attention. The mentioned waitress took our order, by the way. Lucky.

I ordered Curry Noodle because I was craving for spicy food (I initially wanted to visit the TomYam Restaurant a few shops away but decided against it because I don't want to have anything heaty but in the end... haih) while W ordered their Spaghetti Alfredo. As for drinks, I had myself a glass of Honeydew Milkshake and W had some sort of blackcurrant soda (I can't remember the name). Waiting time for the food and drinks to arrive is quite short. Not bad, or probably because it's a Tuesday night without so many customers.

And because I haven't taken any piccas in ages, I took a few of our food and drinks. So, here are the piccas:

The table promotional menu feat. Full House's family's dad.

W's Spaghetti Alfredo. Yummm

My Curry Noodle. A lot of ingredients are thrown in. Very satisfied.

Our drinks. Sadly, my milkshake turns out to be bubble milk tea.

The champagne grape in W's drink. This tiny jelly-ish fruit is the best
thing ever. When you put it into your mouth, it melts! It's cute. We
were wondering what it was until we went to MBG Fruits and saw it.

The total bill was about 50MYR and when W saw it, she was surprised because according to her, it was cheap. A hidden meaning: Usually when I eat, it's always expensive food! -laughs- After dinner at Full House, we walked around to see some displayed furnitures and I saw this chair that I really liked. The picture is with W so I'm gonna upload after I take it from her phone. I so wanted to buy it but, I think it'll cost a lot. -cries- But it was so perfect for my new room. The color scheme fits perfectly! -sad- It's white and red, by the way.

After some furniture browsing, we walked around aimlessly and discovered a beer cafe names BOLA. According to my friend, the beer cafe was opened just in time to celebrate World Cup 2010. Cool, eh? There's a lot of new shops around and also, bedsheets! With discounts! I don't know why but I really like to buy bed sheets. I've dragged W to choose bedsheets with me when suddenly, out of nowhere, a cute TB came over and tell us about the discounts. Ah, love her hair. I wish W would cut it like that but she likes to shave her sides which I really hate. -hmph- If you're reading this, please let your hair grow longer!! Ah, that did it.

Sorry for being random but, I think I need sleep. G'nite.

THANK YOU DA JIE!!! ♥♥♥♥♥

Yeah, I only remember to take a picture of it after I've thrown it into the dustbin. Lol.

free dessert.

It's W's birthday today but I couldn't take leave from work (I feel really bad, to be honest) to accompany her. So, right after work, I suggested that we go to 1U and I'll treat her to something good. Contemplated for a long while before we settle for Sushi Zanmai.

To cut everything short, the dinner was great except for a little spilling accident which wasn't my fault (the little girl beside our table did it) and guess what? We even got a free dessert for the manager because W knows him. Plus, the pretty waitress who served us is the manager's girlfriend and yeah, W knows her too. -grins- She's really a good host. The last time we went, the queue was so long that we waited about thirty minutes and it still hasn't budge and she offered to take us in, which means, we skipped the queue. Ha, I love the girl. I wonder if she knew it's W's birthday today.

The free dessert. Yummm ♥♥♥

Anyways, the total bill was about 80MYR which my wallet bled but it was worth it I guess. Anything to make W happy? I don't know. I still haven't gotten her presents yet and we have a deal on what to get already. Heh.

Still, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!! ♥♥♥

ten things that annoys me.

I know, not everyone is perfect. But when someone who's not so perfect do things that aren't perfect and got advised because of it, that somebody should think about what he/she has done in the first place that leads him/her to being talked to and do his/her best to improve, right?

Right.

So, yeah. I'm not gonna say who I'm listing this for because this is really in general. Here goes the top ten on my annoying list (not in order):

1)  People who don't wash the toilet even when they're supposed to (as in, you can see the dark spots appearing all over your sink/toilet bowl but you pretend the dirts aren't there and that they will disappear by itself, which, in reality, is cleaned by someone who really couldn't stand the dirtiness anymore)

2) People who don't put back things that they borrowed and used to the original place (as in, leaving things everywhere and forgets about it and when people wants to use it the next time, they can't find it)

3) People who aren't determine enough (as in, people who give up doing things that they're supposed to finish off because of intolerable excuses like being too tired, too busy and too difficult to carry on)

4) People who are narcissist (as in, those who look at the mirror every time there is one and end up staring into the mirror too close that there are air vapors forming on the surface, or maybe girls who think themselves too beautiful to look at that they can stand in front of any shiny reflecting surfaces to fix their hair for at least half an hour)

5) People who ask the same question over and over again (this is pretty self-explanatory)

6) People who don't sweep the floor properly (as in, they do sweep, but they still leave a pile of dirt behind, or maybe like, one thousand strands of fallen/damaged/broken hair on the floor after they do)

7) People who don't wash their dishes (as in, leaving the dish pile beside the sink for two days, wait for the ants to form a colony in them, or maybe the flies to hatch from it before someone feels that it's getting disgusting and get rid of the 'pets' for them by cleaning it up; or maybe wait for the culprit to realize how unhygienic it has become before chucking everything away into the bin, including the bowl itself)

8) People who lack self-confidence (as in, asking someone the same question five or six times in an hour about their appearances just to feel better about it; this is not to be confused with people who are narcissist)

9) People who 'talk cock number one' (as in, people who only knows how to brag and when it comes to doing it, they're the first one who runs)

10) People who're not willing to take risks (as in, safe people who take safe routes because they're cowards and because they would like to stick to one environment/thing/person for their whole lives and not make any changes which is fucking boring)

life.

Something just hit my today.

I'm twenty-five turning twenty-six.

I've done anything in my life that I can be proud of.

E.g. Go crazy with wild and pretty friends and go clubbing until I'm dead drunk and vomits in the toilet while passing out. Have erotic ONS with a super handsome girl/dude and then wake up the next morning screaming at each other in the bed.

Maybe I can blame it on my parents for the good upbringing. But sometimes, I wish I'm not such a good girl.

I want to do crazy stuffs.

Not drugs.

Just that, I wish my life is much more colorful than this grey period I've been in my whole life. Yeah, that.

And to be more free. I hate it when people interrogate me on things that I do.

sudden memory lane.

Used a new hair conditioner today because my hair's getting more and more dry with all the hair styling products that I've been using recently. The conditioner smell reminds me of L. She always, always have this smell in her hair no matter where and when. If I were to list out things that will take me down the memory lane with her again, it would be the hair conditioner and a long-lost smell of her laundry. Her clothes always have this particular smell, and I have no idea whether it's her detergent or softener or sweat. Perhaps the last option doesn't belong in there but yeah, I like that smell on her. Like a lot, lot.

When you've been smelling the same smell for five going to six years (we were together for that long huh? it sounds surreal), you tend to get used to it. It reminds you of things you've lost and forgotten. You'll never know when you're going to experience it back and then one day, wham!, it hits you right there. Here, in your heart. I love memories like these. It makes me feel like, a part of me is gone, or grown up. Like it has suddenly grown a pair of wings and flew away or something and you can't even grasp it.

I don't know why I'm being emotional today. Maybe it's the rain, or that not so good dinner I just had, or maybe just lack of company, with the four walls talking among themselves in silence that I don't understand. Or maybe it's Rene's songs that got me this way (by the way, saw a forum topic about her yesterday saying that she's a closet lesbian. Wow. Still, love her songs!). Or maybe that hair conditioner? Heh.

I have so much to say in here but I don't know where to start. And hey, guess what? Speaking of the devil, L just called when I'm writing this paragraph. She wanted to know what to help me buy for tomorrow's lunch. I'll take bitter gourd chicken rice, I said and her voice doesn't even ring a bell, nothing special, just everyday occurrences. I don't cringe listening to it nor I feel sad thinking about those phone calls in the past. I think I've really let it go, huh?

For a five going to six years of relationship, letting go is the hardest part. But now that I have someone new who loves me (I wonder) and takes care of me (kinda), it's not that hard after all. I think the feelings died the day we broke up, but it's just me who's always holding onto that piece of hope, hope of reconciliation. It's always me, the loyal one, who's always hurting myself. But today, today when the hair conditioner smell brings me back to the past, I stand inside the shower room and think, it doesn't matter anymore

The feelings are all gone. It's over, my heart says.

And this time, I'm proud of myself.

strawberry fields.

Am lazy to blog today, but had a great dinner with my family earlier though it rained quite hard and we had trouble getting out of the car. Anyway, we went to this restaurant called Strawberry Fields which serves fusion food with reasonable prices. It's somewhere in USJ Taipan, on the way to Station One, tucked in between shops with a not so catchy green and bleached signboard. Oh, and it's painted in red.

Ordered a lot of food, each of us with different dishes and portions. The only thing we shared was the Tomyam Seafood. Yummmm. Here, piccas again (pardon me, I'm lazy today).

2 Chinese tea ice and a watermelon juice. That's my dad's arm btw ♥♥

The tom yam seafood with lots of seafood ♥♥♥

My brother's assam fish rice ♥♥♥

My butter cream prawn rice ♥♥♥

Mum's onion ginger fish rice ♥♥

Sis' macaroni with sausage and egg ♥

Sis boyfriend's butter cream chicken rice ♥

Didn't post up dad's Kunyit Chicken Chop Rice with fried egg and soup of the day because the photo came out very blur. -grins- Not going to comment on each dishes but the ones I like the most are mine and my brother's, as well as the tom yam soup. Heh.

W wants to find a room for herself. We're moving out soon and won't be staying together anymore. The moving out date will be end of August. I hope she can find a new room soon enough. -smiles-

bumbu bali.

Took annual leave on both days this week (because there's something that I need to settle with my family), and on Wednesday, had dinner with mum, sis and her boyfriend, Z. Dad wasn't in KL and brother didn't want to follow us out so he stayed at home with Rainbow. My brother always misses out on all the good food, poor thing. Anyway, the four of us went for dinner at Bumbu Bali, Puchong. I've always wanted to go there, like, since five years ago (when I was still in uni, mind you) but never got the chance to. So this time, without hesitation, I whisked them over in my sister's car and had my wish come true. -laughs- I feel like Cinderella all of a sudden, after the previous sentence. Heh.

The first thing that got me disappointed when we arrived was the menu, and it wasn't until my sister and Z pointed it out that I noticed. I never knew that Bumbu Bali was actually Ole-Ole Bali in disguise! Or rather, the other way round. They have the exact same menu, though a little difference in their prices. Bummer. I thought Bumbu Bali was another Balinese restaurant worth drooling over because I've always heard positive reviews about it from my friends and have always wanted to try it out. But now that it's actually the same restaurant as Ole-Ole Bali in Sunway, there's nothing to hype over it I guess. Because, I always go to Ole-Ole Bali! -weak laugh-

Still, the interior design is a bit different from Ole-Ole Bali and the exotic decors by the side really triggered my photographer instinct. Too bad I didn't bring my DSLR! -disappointed again- But! I've got my Nokia E71 which still takes nice pictures. Here, piccas. Most of them are pretty decent and clear except for the last three ones which I had to use flash on them because the they dimmed the lights. Bad quality for the three. Meh.

Goreng, served with Sambel Matah, Sambel Terasi, and Tartar Sauce ♥♥♥

Grilled Lamb Chop ♥♥♥♥

Balinese Grilled Salad: Grilled chicken with squid, served with
Rempeyek, and spicy lemongrass and shallot dressing ♥♥♥

Because the dish portions in Bumbu Bali are expected to be the same as Ole-Ole Bali, so we just ordered three dishes to be shared among the four of us. Got all of us full by the end of the meal and was happy about it. The final bill total was about 90MYR which we split into four. I paid for my mum and me 50MYR which Z paid with his credit card for his share and my sister's.

Though I love Bumbu Bali's overall atmosphere and all, I still say that Ole-Ole Bali's food tastes better. Perhaps their head chef is over at Sunway's branch? I don't know, but yeah, will go back to Ole-Ole Bali instead of Bumbu Bali next time. -grins-
